I have no idea what point you think you're making with the other stuff.

Its pretty straightforward and simple

A person living in a country can claim nationality of that country (this is your claim)

people from jamaica can live in britain and claim to be british

Therefore, by that same claim, someone from england can live in india and claim to be indian.

Someone who is indian can not colonize india, since its their own country.

Therefore, if you believe your initial claim, then you can have no problem with the english people who moved to india in the 18th and 19th century.
