their function was wealth extraction for the mother country

The function is irrelevant. And as I have pointed out, its not possible for them to be colonizers if they are indians. So they arent extracting for the mother country, since they are indians. Why do you keep ignoring this point?

It follows from your own argument. If they are indian, they cannot be colonizers, by definition. They cannot be extracting wealth, by definition.

And I could equally argue ( as pharmakon did) that a good number of immigrants send money back to their "mother country" and indeed, identify as natives of their "mother country" and not british. And I could argue that a good number of immigrants are in fact extracting wealth by force, the state is using force to take wealth from one group of people, and giving it to a different group of people.

and a mutually beneficial relationship, backed by no force at all, which adds wealth.

You have yet to show that this is true. Stabbing 10 people on a train is definitely not a mutually beneficial relationship. Murdering a refuse man in cold blood for no reason is definitely not a mutually beneficial relationship. Murdering small girls for no reason is definitely not a mutually beneficial relationship.

You have yet to show that immigration adds wealth, and is mutually beneficial.
