At the risk of sounding offensively patronizing I'm going to suggest that you re-read what I wrote, because it just doesn't seem like you read it thoughtfully, and you are one of the most thoughtful people on this forum, and your thoughts matter, certainly to me. It is quite possible that I have not made my position clear, as straightforward as I think it is, and if you don't arrive at a different conclusion, say so, and I will try again. "The merit of porn is that it gives a great deal of pleasure." Surely you are old enough to have some idea that "giving pleasure" is not a simple measure of merit? Or is the merit of heroin that it gives a great deal of pleasure? Try again, man. Read what I wrote. |
