The only intelligent thing you said in this post is... "Being nelly and being gay are two separate things" Your thinking is very outdated and wrong on this topic. Having an affinity for femboys and being around many, has made me a de facto expert. Etenne has it correct and you have it backwards. Feminine presentation is innate and not learned from the mother. Just because society has set defined expected roles, it does not mean that these roles and the expectation to follow those roles is correct. Live and let live is the ONLY way for harmony. If you only prefer masc boys, fine. You don't need to entertain femboys. That does not mean that others like me should be deprived of them. It irks me to hear this point coming from a BL as the "societal expectation" is EXACTLY what us BLs are trying to overcome in spite of the facts that go contrary to such normative conformity. You are basically parroting the anti rhetoric and reskinning it. If you still disagree, I will need to go a little Monkey on you and ask for evidence to back up your claims that a fem presentation is learned behavior. Also M, you always feel so attacked here, but then you are attacking others in this way of being dismissive of femboy lovers and the femboys they love. I believe that you can only see boys in a traditional way and that is the only way you want to see them. The fact is, there are many flavors of boys in this world. Femboys are just one flavor. There are many other boys available from middle to masc and sporty to nerdy.
