Just to follow up, the European Green Party (EGP), representing the vast majority of Green parties in Europe, have condemned the Green Party of England and Wales for its ZiR motion, and the EGP has reaffirmed its belief in the right of Israel to exist. Separately, the German Greens have (predictably) condemned the ZiR motion as “intolerable and unacceptable.” And this is excellent news, because the other Green parties of Europe have just exposed themselves for what they are: parties that support the permanent forcible expulsion of people from their homes on the ground of their ethnicity, that is, ethnic cleansing. I would have been worried if the Green parties of Europe hadn't condemned the Green Party of England and Wales. My goodness, who would have thought only a couple of years ago that the English Greens would morph from nice, litter-picking eco-nimbyists into a populist movement capable of actually driving the Establishment into full panic mode? |
