Cops ain't perfect ya know

Many a story has emerged in the past of people being harassed, framed, bullied.. whatever, by police who thought they had their perp but were wrong. This might astonish you but there are good sound reasons why there are protections for people built in to the Constitution of the USA, designed to even the odds against an overweening government that could otherwise easily just trample all over your rights. Anyway, whether they are technically and legally correct with their actions or not is not the point of view I'm taking. I would argue that the law as it stands, in your country and mine, is wrong in so many ways regardless of any number of democratic votes in favour of them. So I'm on the other side of the fence from the arrogant cops with their eternal focus on what they think is righteous. They should be chasing after the real criminals.
