The Hitler youth thing ended up being little more than destructive, counterintuitive, and wasteful. PARAGRAPH 175 goes into detail why.

Besides, variety is the spice of life. I personally find there nothing to be better than being with boys who are all shapes, sizes, and colors. The most important boy in my life is a beefy, blissful, natural bright blond, so I get it, but being around nothing but bright-haired boys all summer would sure make me miss those darkly-toned Italian swimmer types that I can never get enough of.
