RESPIRO and MELENA are good movies too. SHOESHINE. BICYCLE THIEVES, BIG BLUE, MIRACLE OF MARCELINO, CAPERNAUM, you’ve probably seen CINEMA PARADISO already.

I don’t really look for movies based on whether the actors look good or not though. If you do that’s cool but I like realistic faces and actions from kids. Like, kids with zits, crooked teeth, awkward shapes, peculiar personalities. People who look like real people you or I could know. Not young supermodels looking godly. Just odd, awkward, true kinds of people.
