Of course "lack of youth syndrome" is a term I just coined, but it may speak to a bigger problem and that is there no youth to replace the ones that are growing up (in general terms, that is) and if there is youth they tend to be from newly immigrated families. Often difficult to relate to, distant, and culturally awkward to embrace. This new embraced "Feminism" (that has nothing to do with femininity, motherly qualities, or bearing and raising prodigy) this new standard has young women feeling embarrassed about having a boy friend, and men wanting to simply go their own way. The happiness index is below levels ever seen, the overall population is in decline, apparently sex has never been so low as something to do... all that to say, that had there been more male youth around you, perhaps this void you feel would have been slowly transferred to loving and adoring another boy that would have been there... but in our culture the biological responsibilities are twisted, and held hostage by easy money schemes that allow a false dichotomy to not only exist but dominate. Face it the boys galore days are gone, but too the culture that we grew up in is also gone, Robotics, A.I, and cyber-communities are the new reality, while feminist get great paying jobs, shack up in nice homes all alone with their 2 cats... What a great world this land of freedom and opportunity has created. way to go Boomers! $40 Trillion in debt, and the foundations of cultural propagation annihilated. Corporate dominance, turned fascist like a cancer has destroyed the host. The boomers legacy. Very sad. |
