Thanks for this input!

All i recall of the film was that there was included the author of the whole topic himself, alongside the young actor, Jeroen Smit, who played him as a youngster. THAT all by itself told me that THE FILM was closer to the heart/truth of the young soldier's reminices.

Wondering what Jeroen is up to these days? Has he become a mainline actor in the NL, or?
