There's a Freudian take on this: He stole from you because you refused to give him what he wanted, sexual intimacy.

Since basic human behavior seems to elude you, let’s flip this around. Would you steal from your YF because he refused your sexual advances?

Kids do all kinds of messed up stuff, but if he's the kind of kid that steals from a trusted adult then he was going to steal no matter what BLueRibbon did, or failed to do, with him sexually.

I thought you were an expert on boys and knew these kinds of things.
