Oh, I see, so this wasn’t really about persuading anyone or advancing a viewpoint, but about reciting a BL (s)creed to a small coterie of forum members. That certainly clarifies the intent. Thank you. Oh, this could have been so productive if only you had addressed the critiques about your… let’s call them “creative” beliefs about sexual behavior and love. But of course, I’m not holding my breath for an actual response. Everything is just an abstract construction where the conclusion was decided ages ago: BL’s supposed brilliance, superiority, and elevated status. Basically a “I have said, Ye are gods” sort of proclamation. My favorite kind! You’ve taken some ordinary sexual activity common across the gender and sexuality spectrum and transmogrified it into a teaching moment, as if the very idea of sexual desire unfiltered by a top-down moral lens has never crossed your mind. But why am I surprised by any of this? These views are just the equivalent of the Roman Catholic Church declaring a dogma, like the Assumption of Mary, and then scrambling through the Bible to justify it. The conclusion comes first, Mary was assumed into heaven, and then we invent all the reasons to make it seem like that was always the belief of Holy Mother Church. Those who do not believe it are anathema. Brilliant logic. One wonders where you learnt it. |
