...since we were thrown under the bus by the LGBT contingent in the 1990s. Short answer: We are unorganized. Too many BLs are content in the dark corner as a pariah. As long as they can create forums to show legal photos of boys and comment on them, why is there any further need to do any more to fight for our rights? I see several people doing a lot like write articles, be a living library resource for other BLs who need references or reading, or develop and run resource sites for a myriad of information. Then I see those who want to stay where we are currently by keeping the status quo. I also see some who have egos. I'm not talking about the antis here, or the trolls, but regular BLs who have egos and attitudes that are larger than life. I have run into this here with some who carry around a negative attitude and always see the negative side of everything. I have also seen this with other boards where posting innocent photos and calling out cliques and posting information that is easily accessible via the web in order to try to show the issues, is met with threats and zero explanations for their actions. Whatever you do, do not anger the clique. These attitudes actively prevent BL/MAP progression. When we act like arrogant Keystone cops, there is no possible path forward towards our distant future acceptance. But hey, some don't want to lift a finger to help get there. They are happy being a pariah and looking at pics of boys playing soccer as if it were a stereotypical creeper in the bushes and binoculars. We deserve better. Want to help?
