Hi, I am part of a research team at the University of Kent in the UK, working with Dr Caoilte Ó Ciardha. We are conducting a survey exploring attitudes towards AI-generated child sexual image/video content amongst individuals who have a sexual interest in children and/or adolescents. We are interested in understanding the range of views about AI-generated child sexual content in the BoyChat community. We initially posted a few days ago but the Cogs gave us feedback on how to provide safer links and flagged previous discussions on types of questions to avoid. To take part in the survey you can use the link below or copy and paste this link: https://www.kent.ac.uk/school-of-psychology/experiments/ai-study/bc-link/ The link brings you to the University server which then has a link to a survey platform. The survey is completely anonymous and confidential, and we do not ask for any identifying information or record IP addresses. It’s been approved by our internal ethics committee. The questions cover your opinions about AI-generated and non-AI child sexual image/video content as well as broader questions about online expression. We also ask about age, gender and exclusivity of your sexual interests. The final section of the survey asks about your own gender, country of residence, and ethnicity, but each of these have a “rather not say” option. We also ask for your age at the very start of the survey. There are no questions that ask about any past behaviour whether legal or illegal.
