Various sites offer free OCR of various file types, including .PDF files.

If you can run OCR on the files before uploading to libgen.rs, then text can be copied/pasted from the .PDF file for referring to/including information in posts, etc.

It's easy to do online free OCR, but the quality can vary, depending on which site you choose.

If you're interested in learning some tricks to get better-quality OCR of files that are not clear or easily readable, just ask. :-)
