Hello everyone! For those who are interested, there are two new studies being conducted on sexual and romantic attraction to children. Participants are eligible if they're over 18 YO and are attracted to children under the age of 14. Both studies are anonymous and Tor-compatible. These surveys are follow-ups to these two publications, if you'd like to take a look: Martijn, F. M., Babchishin, K. M., Pullman, L. E., & Seto, M. C. (2020). The study, titled “Sexual and romantic attraction to children: Important child features and experience of falling in love”, has two parts: Survey 1 is about sexual and romantic attraction to children (and adults, if relevant) and the physical and psychological features of children (and adults, if relevant) that are deemed most attractive. Survey 2 is about romantic attraction and experiences of falling in love with children (and adults, if relevant). Each survey takes about 10-15 minutes of your time and is completely anonymous. After Survey 1, you will be asked whether you would like to participate in Survey 2. This is completely voluntary. To access Survey 1, about attraction to children (and adults) and their physical and psychological features, please go to the following link https://bhr.bic.theroyal.ca/surveys/?s=34FPPTWF9M. This survey has been made accessible for Tor users. All study data is stored on a secure server at the Royal Ottawa Mental health Care Centre, a mental health hospital located in Ottawa, Canada. As such, Tor users may receive a pop-up message when clicking the survey link, asking “Do you want to proceed?”. Selecting “Yes” will allow you to complete the survey and will in no way reveal or link your identity or IP address to your survey responses. This message appears in response to Tor crossing our secure firewall. If the survey does not load at first, we recommend trying to refresh after a few minutes, as our server may block certain geolocations that Tor has routed you through. This study has been approved under REB#2023005. For any questions, please contact Madison.McAskill@theroyal.ca (Study Coordinator). |
