Loyalty is a ruse

You DO bring up important but tough truths. For those whom have NOT had the privileges that we white folks take for granted, I can understand some of your position. But half an acre is hardly much of something to fawn about! Jeeze, is that ALL you have, after a lifetime of prostrating yourself to Whitey???? What gets me tho is that you seem to blindly Trust what-ever you are Told by your white owners (really, if you think about it, it is that way). Lucky you weren't born in nazi germany (I suppose you'd happily Conform and Believe the nazis in order to 'serve your country', as well?) But then again, THE CURRENT SYSTEM (no matter who's "in power") IS quite a similarity, tho not openly culling the population, yet. Covertly, tho, they sure did a number with covid19. And AIDS. And the prison system. And so much else. My bottom line is not rigid obedience. I grew up in the u.s.a., son of a military vet who talked me out of joining up. And I've learned the hard way not to trust this System. This isn't due to my blind trust in Leftism or Libtardism (heh). This is due to deep diving on many topics, regardless of ideology. As well as world travel (not just reading a book there, either). So I'm willing (and have, many times) to put my life on the line for my seeing. And I suppose you do as well, in your profession (or just being Black). I think that the only real difference we have, tho, is the trajectory of what we learned and how we learned it. Anyway, i stand with the whistleblowers. Like the c.i.a. whistleblower, John Stockwell and many more. All of whom risked their careers and lives to speak their truths as they experienced them, personally. Stockwell's Bottom Line was that he was misled to believe what he was Told in his Westpoint education, then marine corps service, etc. And he believed. Only to find for himself, the ugly reality that he was deeply misled. I think you are just one of those people who hasn't yet been forced to wake up to such things. That is, either you stand with your deepest principles no matter what, or you Sell Out due to Lack of Nerve. Which is it for you? (Or do you see a nuance?)
