Keep up the interesting work! And yes, there is a reason why cops the world over are the dumbest amongst us. The authoritarians NEED THEM THAT WAY. Else they would begin to THINK and that is PROHIBITED. Period. And they might not be so "useful" in being sacrificed as decoys as the population starts to REALLY attack. Anyway, when cops act brutally they are certainly covering up that they are doing so from a WEAK POSITION. (But of course, "cops" are just the Trusting foot soldiers, and it is their supervisors and "the brass" whom are the real problem. So a cop here or there gets fired, big deal. The situation escalates, regardless. Granted, I'm no fan of violence. But I've seen first-hand how soldiers called cops work. Plus I've read some info from whistleblower cops. Like Norma Jean Almodovar (whom wrote a book called COP TO CALL GIRL!). Not perfect, but quite enlightening into the inner-workings of the l.a.p.d. (los angeles police department); even in just shedding light on how cops deal with 'their own' when dissent wells up (in this case systematic sexism in a quite brutal way). |
