I'm sorry, all that is obfuscation. The occupation is unlawful. The only country that explicitly "disputes" this is Israel. Israel excludes the 5.5 million Arabs in the occupied territories from civil and political rights. Again, I must ask: did you watch the BBC video I linked to? What it shows is clearly not "self-defence". It is a campaign of ethnic cleansing (and has, incidentally, been identified as such by the new British government). It is this, the continued occupation, the denial of Palestinian statehood, the murderous land grabs on the part of the Israelis, that is the cause of the conflict, not the events of October 7; and peace is impossible until the fundamental causes of the conflict are addressed, which lie principally in the ethnonationalist policies of the Zionist entity.
