The U.S., as you well know, has had hot-headed, impulsive leaders, involved in, for example, the following:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish%E2%80%93American_War

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_the_Battleship_Maine_Was_Destroyed

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuban_Missile_Crisis

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_of_Tonkin_incident

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_close_calls

The last entry -- Nuclear close calls -- is near to what could possibly occur if the Indian and Pakistani leaders let themselves and their people respond out of emotions, not rational considerations.

Just as in the other incidents I cite above which DID involve U.S. hotheadedness and impulsiveness.

If you'd like more examples of American duplicity, hotheadedness, and impulsiveness, see:

by Oliver Stone and Peter Kuznick

So feel free to post about any current developing situations involving the risk of nuclear war and the destruction of life as we know it on Earth, from actions taken by hotheaded and impulsive American leaders.

Just as I have done in my post about Indian and Pakistani leaders.

M.
