Hit a nerve? Telling how you skipped over the description of the sealioning behavior. Sealioning has always been intended to stop conversations. It's not necessary to convince a sealion that he is a sealion to teach others how sealioning works. You are a sealion because you use a variety of techniques to steer conversations away from what the OP came to talk about and usually into a quibblefest over the definition of some word or a transition into a meta conversation about what you consider the traits of the person talking derailing away from the topic of conversation.
