Manny, like a LOT of BCers, has changed his nickname before. Usually when people switch up their nicknames it's to distance themselves from personal details that they have thoughtlessly shared, but that scenario doesn't seem to apply in Manny's case. He did share a lot of personal details, but nothing doxable. The more likely explanation is he just realized that his disgusting caricature of boylove wasn't fooling anyone except his fellow crimeTV junkies sitting at home watching sensationalistic child molester special reports on the boob tube. His last few posts were linked in the unofficial Official August BC Digest. Notice how all the replies to his final posts were combative rejections. If Manny died, he died alone, which as you say no one can prove what happened to him irl, but as far as his online presence we can all bear witness to the fact that the guy who came to BC to "bring us together" through his various schemes and projects, died cyber alone. You can't blame him for getting discouraged by the udder lack of encouragement he got. But you never know. A message board is a good way to look at the issues, but it provides at best a dim view into what is happening in the real world. Someone as paranoid (and backstabby) as Manny isn't the type of person who'd have a friend to let us know if he passed away.
