It sounds like you not only don't use the tor browser when you boychat, but you don't even bother to use an incognito/private window. Or it could be that instagram is recognizing you by your IP address, meaning you aren't bothering with a vpn. Having the links change color when you click on them makes it easy for you to pick up on past conversations when you notice someone had added an unred comment, but just letting those cookies pile up can come back to bite you. You stay logged in to youtube and facebook within the same browser profile, don't you?

Talking to people who don't care about their cyber health is like talking to an obese middle aged chain smoker. "It's fine," they assure you in their gravelly tobacco voice. "I'm too old to change now." No one is surprised when they drop dead of a heart attack.
