I still have hope for Milo.

He's been in a tremendously bad place the last few years, really only loved by his cats. But his natural joie de vivre and his articulateness are still active within in him, even tho he's at the bottom of his own cage.
And his Catholicism will continue to ratchet him in the right direction, restraining him when he goes wrong, and encouraging him when he goes right.

Don't count him out yet!
