the stuff of empire, and keeping it

That's the conclusion my limited study has brought me, so far. i think it stems from when "the Mongol Hordes" came in overwhelming numbers seeking food and help after a large meteor hit in northern Russia (according to a book i read by Barbara H. Clow). They overwhelmed everyone so badly (including with their battle-hardened ways) that the Romans were founded. Whom then forced their 'Misery Loves Company' on most of Europe, which in turn reflected that insanity with colonialism. And so on. I'm seeking a cogent challenge to this view, btw. What you were seeking was WHY DO THESE OTHERS SAY WHAT THEY SAY? Am i right? Well, call it "good propaganda", in the snide vernacular of the elites who fooled and tooled us into being their slaves. They've got it all worked out in scientific measurement, apparently. How many can be SCAPEGOATED so that not "too many" will rebel, and thus their own so-called "power" can be retained. And no threat will come to challenge in any coherent fashion. You read the suddenly demonized Chomsky, and you start to see reality. Other than that, it seems to be only "Necessary Illusions". That only money can buy, sometimes. You read whistleblowers from the various "political police" agencies, they'll say it was their agents, their projects, PURPOSEFULLY MISLEADING THE MASSES with information MEANT TO having us thinking all wrong. There was a quote that came out recently on just that. Anyone know what i'm talking about? The bottom line is, we are a CRUCIAL glue for MEANINGFUL community, and it's precisely that unity which has been a primary target of what Chomsky called "Rollback" and others called "Backlash". Elites don't want "the crisis of democracy" that was the 1960s/70s. They don't want we, the masses, challenging their power and their privilege. Thus it's "an easy thing", Chomsky quotes leading elites saying (like Walter Lippmann) "to get the Stupid[ized] masses to do Your Bidding." Thus such comments like that. They have a germ/side of truth, of course, tho. There ARE lots of men, given no social choice but to be closeted-lifelong or to be demonized, who LOSE IT more and more, and perpetuate this situation. PLUS, war makes men insane, and thus more abusive. All of this is a "good thing" to the elites, as their leaders say. Look up "the Kennedy intellectuals", Reinhold Niebuhr, Lippmann, and one other i can't recall offhand. It REALLY IS THAT CYNICAL AND HORRIBLE. And THIS IS WHY i left the Left. The Left ONLY perpetuates the elites' cynicism, since the Left seeks to INCITE the masses towards the elites. NO DIALOGUE, NO BACKSTORIES SHARED, JUST THIS 'BAD COP' STRATEGY. The Right Wing does this too, of course; worse. The meta-game (for which i've long been socially punished for exposing, along with R.D.Laing) is that COMMON GROUND is PROHIBITED BECAUSE the simple fact of the matter is that DIVISION is a MACHINE FOR WAR. And since Society never "took the profit out of war" (exposed USMC general Smedly D. Butler), war is STILL the foremost value. That is, sending off all those kids we were unable to reach and mentor, to getting maimed and murdered in all sorts of way by the u.s. government, et al (?) secretly TESTING horrors on them, AS WELL AS from combat and related injuries. Not to mention all the death death death. 58,000 killed in Vietnam, BUT, "MORE OF WHOM KILLED THEMSELVES AFTER THE WAR"--John Stockwell, c.i.a. whistleblower.
