Who has ever been convinced by reason? Or logic? Are you going to follow someone into battle because they argued all of your doubts away? Would you accept an engagement ring because they argued you into seeing that the arrangement makes logical sense? No. People cooperate or not due to feelings. Leaders connect with the people through feelings, not reason. Reason is how cooperating friends solve problems, but reason has no place in conflict management. Did the teacher persuade the children to behave? Did the child persuade the girls to make room in the girl's area? No. It was all done on vibes. Which autistic people famously can't comprehend vibes, so they are watching that movie thinking: hey why did the boys stop attacking? They wonder why the teacher let it go and why the girls made space for a new student in their section. Logical reasonable thinkers just don't see the emotional aspects of the story. That's why they go around being mad and bewildered at human behavior all the time. ![]() |
