You seem to have your politics mixed up. I am very much in favour of paying people such as nurses and care workers a decent wage. I might even stand to benefit from such a course myself. But the political figures and parties who want to push foreigners out of my country very definitely do not have an agenda of increasing public sector pay, I can assure you. The economics of Farage and co is Thatcherism on steroids: privatisation, de-unionisation, squeezing public sector pay. Studies have shown that the medium term effects of migrants on native pay is far from straightforward, but an aging population supported by an ever-shrinking tax base must ultimately lead to the stripping away of the welfare state and increased precarity, and therefore lower pay, for the working class. Your argument that "Muslims do hate the British" -- despite the statistical evidence I linked to which shows the precise opposite -- is that "in the First World War the Germans conspired to stoke a jihadist rebellion against the British empire". Not an overwhleming argument for current muslim sentiment, one might have thought, but in any case I would have been entirely in favour of arab rebellion, or jihad, against the British empire. You know, the British empire wasn't actually very nice.
