The horror on his face. I don't think that he finds the joke his mom made anything funny. In my country, i get a wristband when i get admitted to a hospital. And i have to repeat my social security number over and over again. There is a porter moving me from the reception to the operating theater - again, checking wristband and asking me. And the porter hands me over to the first nurse - again check of wristband and social security number. And when the anesthetist puts me under, again check... And before the operation, i had been to an appointment where i had to give my security number and the operation was entered into my journal. Getting the wrong operation seems to be nearly impossible here. |
