If they claim they do not hate you for that, I think they are likely to forget about it as time passes by, specially if nothing in your drive was illegal. There was a time when my mom was sure that I was seducing my niece, something I never intended to do and never went through my head, but, as time went on and nothing else happened, se forgot about it. It has been years since.

People tend to think that all pedophiles are monsters. If the pictures you had were innocent and you do not act illegally, they could later think that this was all a misunderstanding and move on, as neither your behavior nor the pictures you see are "monstrous".
