...I thought I finally had a line on your 'nic'... but I guess I was wrong, spelling is different. Was a charming thought nevertheless, Dr. But THAT was not really what I was going to say.... distracted old man I am. It has long since occurred to me that bl.net would have been the place where you, as many other did, found that community they were in fact looking for. And yes, nostalgic thoughts, memories...all that. Some of those people still exist. Shrouding themselves with wizard robes at times...but they are out there. BC was a place much different many years ago, more to what you are looking for...you know that. But it has changed a lot. I lived too long to want anything...but I hope that you find someone /some-many, somewhere. You deserve it. When the peasants stormed the 'jousting lists'... [and the beaches], there was no more room for knights and squires.! Brongersma was a bore in real life, I can tell you. And living in Amsterdam on a canal boat was damp.!
