I don't think you're a troll. I think you're just stuck trying to push back against arguments that nobody is really listening to anymore. I get the urge to call out bad arguments because I've felt it too. But this board is so quiet, and most of the people still here made up their minds years ago. The long arguments, especially with that one troll, just aren't changing anyone's mind. Don't let him live rent free inside your head. I honestly think your intelligence and energy could be put to much better use. It feels like watching a Lamborghini used for a two-block grocery run. 😉. It's capable of so much more. I'm not telling you how to post, and I'm sure you have your reasons. I just wonder what would happen if you stopped engaging with the troll altogether. What if you let go of the responsibility of correcting him? The people who will believe him probably will regardless, and the people who won't already have plenty of other voices to learn from. I just think your time is worth more than endless arguments that go nowhere. Maybe I'm preaching to myself just as much as I'm responding to you lol, but I think we tend to overestimate how much influence we actually have over how other people see these kinds of posters. The next day they'll be back saying the same things, and the people inclined to believe them still will. Obviously, there's nothing wrong with disagreeing with people, but the way you and that troll follow each other around the board isn't helping anyone—least of all you. And it encourages him to continue his campaign of insanity. He's obviously a deeply troubled BL engaged in role-play. As for the lemonade kid, never saw him again. Not sure I'd want to give him feedback on his awful beverage as that would just seem a little mean lol. |
