... adversaries, or totally irrelevant entities? I recently tried to access a site on the Internet Archive, from the late 1990s and I kept running into another organization that had purchased the URL in the very early 2000s. I finally found what I was looking for, but I had to use every trick I know to find the archived copy of the site. It was there, just buried deeply. Of course, BoyLove sites are generally excluded from being archived. Imagine someone unknowingly buying a former BL domain and finding it blacklisted by McAfee (or with stern warnings that it is "a dangerous site" that they should not access) or even blocked entirely by backbone servers!
