I’m actually a big fan of the busy art style.

I would highly recommend taking your time a bit more with unfolding the visual information and focus instead on telling a clear, compelling story so that you can draw the reader into the world you’re crafting. You don’t want to obscure what you’re trying to convey. Comic writing is an art form. Readability is key though. You don’t want your readers to wind up in a situation where they open it up and are immediately spending five minutes trying to find everything on the page. Instead, you want to ease your reader in to the point where they don’t mind taking it all in. Otherwise, you’re essentially just making collage art. And I love collage art. If that’s your mode, that’s cool. But it might be harder to attract more readers that way.
