I will take your reply as a "yes, and" because we need both. We need truthful stories to tell the reality and how THE SYSTEM harms the boy and not the MAP. Some ideas would be a BL directed feature of Marcus & Me. Don't want to spoil it but a perfect example of a loving relationship that grew and then ripped apart by the system. Another one would be "M's Story" from Brian Ribbon's post. ALSO We need loving touching stories of M/b relationships that are happy and uplifting to show how it is a positive. Maybe a boy who is a victim of society and family (like kicked out for being gay) and then finds a man who he falls in love with and the man inspires him to follow his dreams and then he becomes what he always wanted with the man's support (actor/singer/etc.). We need uplifting stories as well. Something to believe in.
