one tiny anecdotal example proves nothin

If you actually encountered a group of people where 100% of the people shared one monolithic interpretation of sexuality then maybe they do (or did) exist, but like you acknowledge, such worldviews rarely retain their rigidity long when their young people have the option of learning more modern forms of culture from the shrunken world wide web. But why is it "sickness" when people stop believing the old "top/bottom" divide in homosexual acts? Some old fashioned ideas should be deconstructed. In reality someone could be a power bottom with machismo or a top could be bussy whipped.
