For example, within mere weeks of creating his current sock puppet, Manny accused tpka Weasel of being a cop, followed less than a week later by another ridiculous accusation by andrew. Calling someone a cop takes zero effort or imagination.

No one is really calling you a cop OSP. You most probably aren't and there is no hard evidence anyone can link to that says anything different. Only a manipulative lying troll would throw accusations like that around without any evidence to back it up. This is similar to the mark194 situation where his claims of being a young boy seeking personal (email) connections with pedophiles was used as an example of what LEO or antiped catfishing looks like, which he misconstrued as a claim of absolute truth, which it was not. Rather than acknowledge the obvious actual truth, which was this is what catfishing looks like, whether it is or isn't actually, he declared war and spent the next two years harassing the person who had questioned his behavior.

But questioning behavior is all it is, not a claim to factual knowledge. We question your behavior, because (if we take you at your word) you are violating children's boundaries in a way that would be very unsettling to them if you ever got caught AND that type of behavior tends to get worse over time. Peeping Toms are known for masturbating while they watch their victims. Talking about sexual misbehavior to get excitement or disgust from the reader is exhibitionism, which also tends to get worse over time, often ending with the person getting into trouble (share too much, etc).

Not saying that you are a cop, but sources say that besides the "curious child" catfish trope, the next most common one is "Sick Puppy," who brags about being in criminal circles in order to gain entrance to, or with entrapment to cause a victim to form a new criminal circle with him, in order to bust him and any other criminals the circle attracts. We can use your behavior to illustrate how typical catfish appear without saying for sure that we know you are one.
