| P.S I would also say that rather than my pushing myself onto the other party Marlowe refers to: Stephen Nicholson (now deceased) author of “A Dangerous Love”, Stephen actually reached out to me on said boyfilm archive regarding a query I made regarding the unexpurgated version of Michael Davidson’s “Some Boys.” A correspondence followed which lasted until Stephen’s death as we shared interest in music as well as boys (pianist, organist and classical guitarist here). I was responsible for introducing Marlowe to Stephen. The facts are all there in the book by Stephen which Marlowe publishes. I am “Mark” and the Stephen is positive about me. Yes I did confide in Marlowe but I did not “push” my troubles on him. They came up in conversation. It was a mistake. I would advise befriending this man. He is an old Etonian, obviously very privileged and without a shed of sympathy for anybody of a lower order especially if they happen to be buffeted by life’s storms. I don’t need to say anymore. Judge my response here which is without rancour to his and judge who is the better man. I still give him credit for his website and continue to recommend it: cheers. |
