Well, of course i can't speak for all

of them. i'm just speaking from an experience i had when i was there in the '90s, with one of the young leaders (20-something like me, back then) there. He confronted me as i was maybe passing out "radical" BL literature and told me that they didn't want my kind of stuff (as if he even read it!) at their group because they were very happy to be talking with the police. And for a long time i then tried to warn them about history repeating itself, re: Bob Moore's book about the WW2 Dutch Jews entitled Victims and Survivors. Basically, they too found themselves "between a rock and a hard place" and got fooled into thinking there might be serious openings by cooperating with the nazis. Maybe there was nothing they could do all along. After all, i was (and perhaps still am) a quite naive N.American. And after i read L.Stanley's book for the Dutch Parliament where he warned them about the u.s. forcing its policy on Europe, and in particular, the Dutch penal code 240-B (if i recall accurately), well, i've awoken to my privilege. So far, anyway. Still, to meaningfully share info with all persons involved in these kinds of self-defense manuvers (just our daily navigation!) is my aim. And not to allow vanguards to try to marshal their "One Way of Doing Things" on everyone else because of THEIR lack of nerve! Or their so-called "Good Education"!! Ah, venting!
