If you have noticed, boys will tug on their wieners to adjust things, that they sometimes do without realizing they're doing it, and sometimes they'll pull it out as long as it can get (I have spent much time over the years studying this for personal reasons) and it turns out the "fully stretched flaccid length" of prepubescent boy penis has been studied in academic journals and shown to be consistent with erectile length. Meaning if a boy seems to pull it WAY out before releasing, he's probably blessed. (Very few are though, in my experience running the group shower room at a boys' summer camp). Another way to tell though is if he's wearing well-worn tight or "skinny" jeans, because eventually they get a light wear pattern where their penis head usually sits. For 97% of them it's usually off to the side of the zipper (which I have noticed in my studies), but for those few others you can see it lower down the crotch area and sometimes upper thigh area. That "big dick energy" is an adult thing from confidence in their sexual prowess, I think.
