You might want to consult this classic and oft cited BC post:

DOST: the literal definition of child pornography

Criteria #1 of the DOST test is Whether the focal point of the visual depiction is on the child's genitalia or pubic area. The pic you linked to featured a child on a train, hands cupping their genitalia, with their pants zipper zipped halfway down. This was very likely why that photo was taken down by the moderators.

Or...

Could be the moderators knew something that you don't. For example maybe the child in question has been doxed and was facing harassment. As has been discussed previously, children often post pictures or videos for their friends without realizing that pedophiles will cyber molest them. In such cases it's completely understandable that the children (or their concerned parents) would take the "content" down and as you might imagine they'd be dismayed to find out that someone had reposted the "content" in an inappropriate location. Maybe that explains why the moderators took the picture down and in such a case it would make sense that they wouldn't enable the doxing by fully explaining their reasoning for doing so.

People claiming to be boylovers should always remember that boys aren't "content." They are real human beings deserving dignity. We of all people should be the first to respect their human rights. Take a hint from the moderators of bl12 and DO BETTER!
