Sheep in a Box (upcoming 2026)

Sheep in a Box, an upcoming Japanese film directed by Kore-eda Hirokazu, takes a cue from Steven Spielberg's A. I. and deals with an android boy made to replace a family's deceased son played by nine-year-old Kuwaki Rimu. Kore-eda is known for numerous boy-related coming-of-age films including the modern BL classic Monster (2023).
