Can't you see that there is a variety of people here? If you had paid attention you'd see that a number of the most outspoken guys here talk about children in a way that clearly shows that they have not been on familiar speaking terms with an actual child in decades. In those cases it appears that they are more obsessed with the idea of children or with images of children. Maybe to some that is just splitting hairs, but there is a difference between being obsessed with cyber images and being obsessed with real human beings. The ones who are obsessed with their actual real life young friends post here very infrequently or not anymore at all. They are busy running to hockey practice or being band boosters or what have you.

The common definition of what "makes you a pedophile" is being a child molester or csam offender, which is why anti-rape believers have explored using labels with less of a crime connotation, such as virpets, neopets, MAPs and boylovers/girllovers/childlovers. Normal people who love children in legal ways which respect their dignity and human rights simply refer to children as their friends. Those are the least obsessed.

The word "obsessed" (like the word pedophile) has very negative connotations, bringing to mind those who react in an over the top angry manner to those who dare to disagree with them. Yes we have some obsessive control freaks regularly participating here at BC, but it's not fair to say that BC as a whole is like that.
