It's always good to have Upper/Lower, Numbers, and special characters. A good guide is something like the crypto wallet apps which have nine random words, but make them include the above as well. The more random and nonsensical, the better. 2Giraffe4IceCream1FerrisWheel! etc. Then you create a picture in your head of 2 giraffes riding a ferris wheel while eating 4 ice creams. Then memorize them and never write them down ANYWHERE! My tax docs don't have this level of security, but my crypto wallets do.

As far as what you are thinking, no I won't touch the stuff as long as there are decades attached to them. The safest method is imagination. If you are out and about in life and see a hot boy, he can be put to memory and then you can imagine him anyway you want in your mind. Physical prompts are a liability. BL thoughts are not illegal... yet.
