BC creates vigilantes

BC, like any crossroads, creates vigilantes by bringing people with wildly differing opinions together. At first BCers focus on our shared love of children and enjoy the You Are Not Alone message, but then as we get to know our trench mates we realize that some of them are fighting a totally different war. Sometimes it's only after exchanging emails, calls and friending each other on Facebook that a BCer who respects children's dignity and human rights realizes that his new friend looks at children in the same way as a john looks at prostitutes or a gooner looks at porn stars - just a ho (a hole). While child lovers spend their days thinking of ways to build up the children in their local community, child molesters creep along the edges of society, exploiting the victims of social breakdowns in war zones and impoverished areas. Child lovers collaborate within their church, local government and volunteer groups to protect children and give them the best life possible, meanwhile child molesters globetrot, taking holidays in areas where a few dollars can get them access to a hole with the fewest strings attached.

Of course these two diametrically opposed friends are going to see the other guy as an enemy once they get to know each other and usually that's when they cease communications, but if they continue to see each other around the watering hole it's not hard to imagine how the child lovers start to view the child molesters as a threat both to the children they abuse on their globetrots but also to the child lovers own young friends. No one with young friends in their lives wants to be associated with villainous child molesters. Likewise the child molesters, like any lawbreaking criminal, fear prosecution and when they realize that the person they befriended views children as actual people with human rights and dignity worth respecting, they often lash out, calling the other person a law enforcement agent or a vigilante. When child molesters get caught with CSAM the first person they blame is probably going to be the person who knew about their crimes and didn't approve, and so they might blame it all on their (imagined or actual) accuser and cooperate with the prosecution to set him up.

Sources say this kind of thing has been going on since forever here at BC, so much in fact that most users either stopped coming here at all or else took a huge step back, changing their nicks and vowing to never again Facebook friend someone they met on this site. This is true for both sides of the pro-crime/"anti" spectrum. No one is safe here, due to the potential for vicious attacks from people who disagree with how others define "boylove," not to mention the regular citizens who happen to find out about BC from a newspaper article or reddit post and decide to create a nickname and try to fit in long enough to connect and then expose someone.
