'woke,' and there WAS woke. If you dig deeply into the story, you see that there is more to it than meets the eye. Such as threats of dismissals, financial malfeasance--even outright fraud!, incompetence, and more. The choir's form of protest may seem extreme, but it could be considered a measured response, given all the circumstances. You really should read the report given by the oversight committee--which consists of two women, one of which is a former police officer who dealt with cases of child abuse. They didn't like the boys and girls of the choir telling "rude" jokes, and perhaps even engaging in sexual activity with each other. Horror of horrors!
