The author of the article is opinionated but writes a lot of content for us, particularly under his own handle. I generally trust him on matters of fact and presentational quality, therefore as a committee member, I don't fully proofread everything he has to say.

Seems I'm largely right in my suspicions about the rest of this article being hardball opinions with no libel, and nothing that might endanger the author.
