A neurologist spent his residency mostly treating people with strokes and epilepsy.

Let me restate my thesis: ADHD is a neurological diagnosis, and it's not a valid diagnosis unless it was made by a neurologist. That includes self-diagnosis like Carson did here, and probably most working diagnoses which are made by Nurse Practitioners or psychologists.
