I stumbled upon this interesting phenomena and to me it looks quite clear a match to what we see in the research related to pedophilia and child sexuality today. Lysenkoism, in short, comes from a Soviet biologist called Lysenko, who rejected genetics and came up with a totally different explanation about how plants evolve and grow. His theory was at that time promoted by Stalin and all researchers who were not in line got either jailed or executed, or at least thrown out of their academic career. They applied the practical outcomes of Lysenko's theory to agriculture, but since it was not according to reality the results had been so bad that this actually increased the famine of that time in the Soviet Union. And that is in principle the same situation we have with our research today. There is this definition that all child-adult sexual contacts are always negative, and most research adheres to that dogma. In contrast to the original Lysenkoism of course researchers are no longer executed today, but still their career is in acute danger if they dare to question this. Now, Lysenko's theory was easily disproved by the agricultural results and there was already a famous alternative theory available, namely genetics. Still it took quite some years and the idea got spread over a quite large part of the globe, namely the former eastern block states. Unfortunately for us, our fundamental dogma that hinders actual research is spread in the western hemisphere, which today has a nearly world wide reach. And like with Lysenkoism, people suffer needlessly from this baseless dogma. If finally the scientific community can overcome this dogma they will reach far greater results than the fivethousanthsixhundredtwentythird survey that asks how often a MAP masturbates to downloaded "CSA" and how bad he feels about it and if he already considered asking about therapeutic help for this. -- A life without boys is possible, but meaningless |
