I don't understand why, but there are important differences in searching using duckduckgo vs. Google. Supposedly (I believe) duckduckgo uses the Google search database, so results should be the same. But they are not. NOTE: Copy each of the following URLs, then paste each one into your browser's address bar. Then press the "Enter" key. ;-) COMPARE: https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aboychat.org+%22dylan+thomas%22& VS. https://duckduckgo.com/?va=n&t=h_&q=site%3Aboychat.org+%22dylan+thomas%22&ia=web COMPARE: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=site%3Aboychat.org+%22%5Blink%5D+-+Manstuprator%22&va=n&t=h_&ia=web VS. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-e&q=site%3Aboychat.org+%22%5Blink%5D+-+Manstuprator%22 The results are quite different. So I use both if I'm trying to find something. You may wish to do the same. M. Try Googling your real-life name. NO! STOP! Wait -- someone is going to claim that doing so will endanger your security if you are using the same browser instance for searches of your real-life name as you use for posting on BoyChat. (Which may be true -- I don't know.) But watch for the poster or posters who will now pop up and post, "Another red flag for M." or some such nonsense "warning" about how I am such a great threat (I'm not) to other posters here. I hope that by now you know that there are some real dummies posting here... :-/ |
