Žukauskienė et al. (2023): The lifetime prevalence of child sexual abuse assessed in young adults in Lithuania. Child Abuse Negl. 2023 Apr;138:106061. doi: 10.1016/j.chiabu.2023.106061. Epub 2023 Jan 26. PMID: 36708656. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36708656/ The study is representative for Lithuania. 2000 young adults were interviewed. Unwanted sexual touching in the 'minor' age group was 71.5 % perpetrated by peers and 30.7 % by adults (Table 3). Forced sexual intercourse was perpetrated by peers in 82.9 % and by adults in 17.1 %. So this study too shows that sexual violence against "minors" is predominantly committed by peers. On this, see also: Approximately 0.5 percent of all "perpetrators" of "sexual abuse" of "minors" are "pedophilic" men https://www.ipce.info/sites/ipce.info/files/biblio_attachments/schuster_-_2022_-_approximately_0.5_percent.pdf |
